Back to the Garden 1969 …The Woodstock experience

America’s premier Woodstock Tribute Band rocks MPC …Returns to MPC, by popular demand, to kick off the Summer!

Gary Adamson, founder/leader of BACK TO THE GARDEN 1969, gathered a group of seasoned players who have toured, performed, and recorded nationally. The musicians all are multi-instrumentalists, as well as unique lead vocalists. They bring to life the music and spirit of the Woodstock era. By performing these well loved favorites, they remind us of the astounding breadth and depth of the music of the Woodstock generation.

BTTG 1969 is a full multimedia theatrical Event in the style of Broadway’s Beatlemania!

It recreates the Woodstock experience through period costuming, lighting, video and soundbites.  Storytelling also enhances the mood with tales of the festival, the legendary artists who performed and the tumultuous decade of the 60’s.

Performing live, in concert, the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Joe Cocker, Sly and The Family Stone, Santana, Richie Havens, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Jefferson Airplane, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Mountain, Canned Heat, Country Joe and The Fish, Melanie, Arlo Guthrie, Tim Hardin, Ten Years After and Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Half a million people came to a small dairy farm in upstate New York. They came to be a part of what would become an historic event. They came to be a part of “a gathering of the tribes.” They came to be a part of the music. They came to “the Garden.” Now we invite you to return with us. To all of you who lived through those times…To all of you who weren’t around then, but who have heard the tales of those who were.

Come with us…back to the music, back to the magic

…back to the Garden.
